In the midst of the battle that it maintains with the Sumar platform of Yolanda Díaz to reach an agreement to run in coalition in the general elections at the end of the year, Podemos has published an emotional announcement with epic overtones on its social networks to call an act of self-affirmation in Zaragoza next Saturday April 15 with several taunts to the second vice president of the Government and Minister of Labor.
The former leader of Podemos and former vice president of the Government, Pablo Iglesias, charged Yolanda Díaz in November, considering "miserable" and "politically stupid" to "put oneself in profile" when "they crush a colleague", alluding to the "hunt" that, in his opinion, trial, was submitted to the Minister of Equality, Irene Montero, as a result of the release of prisoners convicted of sexual abuse due to the entry into force of the "only yes is yes" law, led by his partner.
Well, not putting yourself in profile and not keeping quiet are two attitudes that the Podemos video extols positively and, not to mention the promoter of Sumar, it goes without saying, in the eyes of purple people, who may lack those virtues. "This is a message for you that you don't shut up, for you that you don't have any position, this is a message for you that you have never received a salary to do politics and that you don't have to shut up," the ad begins. "This is a message for you that you never put yourself in profile in a political discussion with co-workers," insists the video that runs under epic music in crescendo and images that intersperse anonymous people with Podemos leaders, some journalists like Ana Rosa Quintana and Antonio Ferreras, target of purple anger, and right-wing political leaders.
"This is a message for you who feel proud when you go to the polling station and take your party's ballot," the ad continues, adding "this is a message for you who feel angry when you hear Ana Rosa on television the hairdresser's and you don't shut up and say in front of everyone that that lady is a scoundrel". At this moment the journalist appears on the screen charging against Montero for the law of only yes is yes.
"Podemos is the militant of his whole bloody life who hallucinates and is outraged when he sees that his ministers put themselves in profile with NATO and the war in Ukraine and that only Ione (Belarra) says what he thinks," insists a voice in off, which finishes off the job with another sentence that can be read as a hint to Díaz for his refusal to treat Podemos preferentially in his new project and try to dilute the party in the set of confluences that support it. "There are those who think that all these people are few people, just a small group of resistants far from the majority, condemned to live in a corner of the board, they do not understand that these people are the nucleus that radiates," he blurts out.
And after quoting Manuel Azaña to vindicate Podemos as the heirs of the Republican and winking at communists and even pro-independence supporters who vote for Podemos in the general elections "because they admire its courage", the announcer states that "Podemos is the Spanish rebellion that transforms ". "They have wanted to kill that rebellion a thousand times and there are those who want to kill Podemos again, but rebellion always awakens at moments of historical crossroads," he concludes.
