Enrajolats is the exhibition that can be seen these days in the Espai La Peixera del Terracotta Museu de Ceràmica de la Bisbal d'Empordà.

The authors are members of the Bussoga studio, formed by Irina Grosu and Josep Motas. The exhibition reflects his conception of mural and utilitarian ceramics, which is modern and cheerful.

They are works that make up a game of pieces that fit together thanks to original designs and full of life due to bold and bright colors, as we see in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.

Irina Grosu has specialized training in Ceramic Mural Art at the George Enescu Iasi National Art University (Romania). And Josep Motas has a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Girona and specialized in Interior Design from the Deià School of Art and Design.

Since 2012, these two creators have presented their work together under the commercial name of Bussoga, an artistic and business project that is based on traditional ceramic tiles decorated with the silkscreen technique.

Screen printing is an engraving technique of oriental origin that was introduced into ceramics in the mid-1950s, and played a relevant role in the ceramic coating industry in Bisbal during the 1960s and 1970s, as indicated. in the presentation of the sample.

Bussoga recovers this traditional technique with a modern perspective, opting for shorter runs and a process closer to craftsmanship. His designs present pieces with motifs that play with repetition, using current and innovative prints, with a style influenced by Pop Art.
