The Juvenile Court 6 of Barcelona has agreed to the closed confinement for a period of six months to the third of the minors investigated for six crimes of sexual assault on a minor under 16, which occurred in Badalona last June. The now detained man was wanted and captured and has ended up turning himself in.
Eight minors are suspects in this case, five of them unchargeable because they are under 14 years old, like the one who sent the message to the victim so that she would not report them. Two of the first are already interned in a closed regime as a precautionary measure and the third was wanted and had an arrest warrant.
The events took place in a field next to the beach. The young woman was sexually assaulted by her partner and his friends. Of the eight, three were unchargeable because they were under 14 years of age. Two were arrested by the Mossos d'Esquadra and a third was able to evade arrest until he appeared in court, once he was protected by the family clans of the Sant Roca neighborhood of Badalona to which all the accused belong.
At six in the morning, the Mossos d'Esquadra raided several homes in Badalona to arrest two minors related to a multiple rape of a minor that occurred on June 3 in Badalona. The arrested persons were placed at the disposal of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office this morning and a juvenile judge has ordered closed detention for the two arrested. The operation was carried out by the UCAS, the Central Unit Against Sexual Assaults.
The attack occurred in a field in Badalona, near the beach, on Avinguda Eduard Maristany, and was carried out by a group of eight minors, some of legal age, among whom was the victim's boyfriend. All of them are residents of the Sant Roc neighborhood of Badalona. At first, the police identified four of the aggressors but they cannot be charged because they are under 14 years old. According to what they told the police, it was the victim's boyfriend who invited them to rape the minor together. Some even recorded the attack with their mobile phones. Furthermore, according to police sources, some of the attackers who participated in this violation are also related to other violations in the Màgic shopping center in Badalona.
