Its high proportion of old vines, 100% manual harvest (night in Rueda); as well as vinifications adapted to each plot selection according to the exposure, altitude, and soil of the vineyard, they manage to express in each wine a great wealth of nuances and the full identity of its origin, providing grapes of exceptional quality essential for the final wine to be at the level of its consumers.

Following the pioneering character of the company since its origin, the winery's team of young winemakers continually carries out innovation projects, experimenting with different varieties and preparations; with the aim of increasing the originality and diversity of its wines. They are currently working on various innovation projects to recover historical Rioja varieties such as Maturana Tinta and on new production techniques whose results we will soon be able to taste in our homes.

With an export quota of 50% of its sales, Bodegas Marqués de Cáceres is present in more than 135 countries on 5 continents. Its commercial team focuses its strategy on strategic markets such as the United States, UK, Nordics, China, Mexico... and is currently working on consolidating the entire Asian continent and developing a strategic plan for Africa, with the aim of being also references of Spanish wine in these two areas.

In recent years they have expanded their offer by being present in other Spanish denominations of origin to offer different alternatives to their partners, clients, and consumers.

In addition, the diversification of its wine offering allows it to satisfy all palates, with historical Riojas such as Crianza and Reserva Marqués de Cáceres, more iconic signature wines, such as Gaudium and Generación MC that allow it to target high-end restaurants. range and specialized stores, whites made with Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Viura, Albariño, two options of rosé wine and cava, among others.

In recent years, its link with the restaurant sector led to the creation of the Excellens range, a complete offering of whites, rosés and reds made exclusively for hospitality and specialized stores. This is the winery's most gastronomic range: high-altitude vineyards, differentiated vinifications and limited editions. Wines made to reach their maximum potential with the best pairings, in which they stand out for their own identity: differentiation, uniqueness and maximum expression of the terroir.

In recent years, it has also decided to bet on wine tourism as a strategic lever to turn visitors into brand ambassadors, including experiences in the heart of its most emblematic vineyard in San Vicente de la Sonsierra (Espacio Ágora), visits to the winery, experiential tastings and completely renovating its physical store in Bodega.

100% Tempranillo, Gaudium is a limited production wine that is made from grapes from small old vines that are more than 70 years old. These vineyards offer yields of less than 1 kg of grapes per plant but of high quality. Both the harvest and the winemaking process are manual, taking maximum care of all the production steps to achieve an excellent result.

The effort and love dedicated year after year to the production of their wines has been rewarded this year with an award for Gaudium 2018, their great red wine and maximum expression of the care and care in the production that characterizes the winery, in the Spanish Food Awards 2023 delivered by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in the category of Best Red Wine.
