The rise of Venus in the Plana de Vic

* The author is part of the community of readers of La Vanguardia

In this series of images in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos we can contemplate the towns of the Plana de Vic still with the lights on amid fog and light in the sky, while Venus rises among high clouds.

I have captured the spectacle of the dawn in a perspective from the top of Roc Llarg, in Sant Bartomeu del Grau, in the Osona region.

Sant Bartomeu del Grau is located in the altiplano of Lluçanès, although administratively it belongs to the region of Osona, due to its elevation it is a great viewpoint of the Plana de Vic and many mountains of Catalonia.

Venus is the second brightest natural object after the Moon and the second planet in the solar system in order of proximity to the Sun and the third in size in ascending order after Mercury and Mars.

I share the candilazo with fog in photography, while I also show Venus rising in this accelerated video that we can see below.
