Catalan cinema dresses up for the 2024 Gaudí Awards. This Sunday, February 4, nearly 1,400 guests gather to celebrate the sixteenth edition of the awards, which takes place this time at the Barcelona International Convention Center. The event brings together a large number of recognized faces, among which there are personalities from the world of politics and culture, among other spheres. All of them have walked the red carpet before the start of the gala, and have shown that, apart from talent, in Catalonia there is also good taste in fashion.
As for the most acclaimed productions of 2024, Creatura and Saben esall, with 15 and 13 nominations, are the two big favorites for the awards. These two films are also closely followed by 20,000 species of bees, with 9 nominations, and Un amor, with 8. The gala, for its part, will be hosted by Maria Rovira and Ana Polo. But the truth is that before meeting the winners, the venue already saw an authentic display of fashion and elegance, with Catalan, Spanish and international luxury brands as protagonists.
A large number of recognized faces passed through the 118 meters of red carpet and the 25 meters of photocall. Among the first to appear were the presenters Maria Rovira and Ana Polo, who looked radiant.
On the red carpet there was a predominance of the color black, the choice of the majority of guests and nominees. One of the most daring was that of actress Sharonne, who wore a sequined dress with a long black train and matching gloves with fur.
