The PP renounces appealing the energy saving decree and leaves it in the hands of the autonomies

There will be no appeal of unconstitutionality of the PP to the energy saving decree, no matter how much it continues to be very critical of the Government's plan, to the point that regional deputy secretary, Pedro Rollán, called it this morning an "energy rationing card".

The national leadership of the PP has decided to leave in the hands of the autonomous communities the presentation or not of the resources. There will be no slogans. Each one will be able to do what they consider appropriate, although Rollán, who was president of the Community of Madrid for a few months, considers that the arguments put forward by the Executive of Isabel Díaz Ayuso "are sufficiently reasoned".

And it is that the PP agrees that the "energy improvisation" decree, as Rollán calls the savings plan, invades the powers of the Autonomous Communities, such as those related to trade, which the autonomies have by statute. They also consider that the decree does not follow the recommendations of the European Union, which rejects the prohibitions.

The PP presented this morning a "shock plan" to improve justice, its functioning and its independence. These are measures that the PP offers to the Government, who is concerned that the Government "talks about dejudicializing" the Government's bilateral relationship with Catalonia.

At the same time that it offers them, the PP will present them as initiatives in the Senate, and they are aimed at putting an end to actions by the Executive, such as presenting the proposals with decree laws or bills, to avoid the mandatory reports of the General Council of Power Judicial or Council of State.

Among the proposals of the PP are "the non-prescription of crimes of terrorism", and for this they would be considered crimes against humanity. They also ask that acts of homage to terrorists such as those that take place in the Basque Country, to members of ETA when they are released from prison, be considered a crime.

The plan includes the protection of judges and prosecutors, the modification of the pardon law, so that the report of the sentencing court is taken into account; or the modification of the Statute of the Public Prosecutor.

The plan is accompanied by the creation of 350 new judicial bodies, with special attention to the courts of violence against women, something that does not include, said the spokesman for Justice of the PP in the Senate, Fernando de Rosa, the law prepared by Montero , which is limited to changing the Penal Code, but not to giving the justice system the means to apply the new one.
