The PP approaches the absolute majority in Alicante city and joins Vox according to the GAD3 poll

Luis Barcalá will maintain the Mayor's Office of Alicante for the PP and Carlos González could lose it in Elx despite obtaining the victory if the forecasts of the survey carried out by GAD3 for regional television stations are fulfilled.

In Alicante, the PP list would have between 13 and 14 councillors, 15 giving an absolute majority that would easily be overcome by adding the 4 that Vox would reach, double what it has now. Ciudadanos would lose the 5 it has, the PSOE would get 8, one less than now, Compromís could stay at the current 2 or add one more and EU-Podem would keep 1. With this result, Barcala would be guaranteed the Mayor's Office with the abstention of Vox, because the PP would add more councilors than the entire left.

In Elx, Carlos González's PSOE would win, but his 12 councilors might not be enough. It would have to add with Compromís, to which the survey gives 1 or 2, more than the PP (10) with Vox, which oscillates between 3 and 4. Who gets these councillors, if Vox is fourth or Compromís is second, it will depend on where if you tip the scales.
