This series of photographs in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia show the mountain of Montserrat from Vacarisses, in the Vallès Occidental.
We are not rich, but we are fortunate to have Montserrat in front of us and that it offers us this great natural setting.
Montserrat is located between the counties of Bages, Anoia and Baix Llobregat, but it is also very visible from Vallès, in this case, from Vacarisses.
The forest occupies a large part of the municipal term of this town, although now the economy is based mainly on industry and services.
With an extension of 40.54 km², Vacarisses is located in a small depression (the average height of the terminus is 385 meters) of rugged relief that opens in the western foothills of the Prelittoral Cordillera, which reaches 940 meters in the Castellsapera .
As can be seen in the photographs, it is possible to enjoy a good perspective of the Montserrat mountain, with the characteristic stone ridges of the massif.
