The most seen (and unseen) mural in Barcelona

Being in such a busy place, we walked past it and barely noticed it. It is difficult to stop and enjoy the splendid mural La rotunda dels transports, located inside the lobby and interchange of the Plaça Catalunya metro station in Barcelona.

This mural is made up of six panels of different sizes, in turn made up of a multitude of small stoneware pieces. Different means of transportation from different periods are represented, but with a predominance of the most primitive: balloons and other flying devices, steamboats, rudimentary airplanes, old cars and bicycles...

The signature of the authors of this collective work, a public art exhibition, is on the largest panel of all, located between the Rivadeneyra and Rambla exits.

Three of the panels are very narrow, exactly the size of a column, and the other two are intermediate sizes.
