The Mossos release a woman held against her will in Sabadell and arrest her partner

Mossos d'Esquadra agents from the Sabadell police station released a woman held against her will on October 6 and arrested a 22-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of illegal detention and domestic abuse. Catalan police sources announced this Monday.

The Romanian Consulate in Barcelona alerted the police that in an apartment in Sabadell there would be a woman held against her will, who did not have access to her mobile phone and who was regularly attacked by her partner.

When they went to the apartment and arrived, they located the victim and she told them that her partner regularly attacked her and did not let her leave the house alone. For these reasons, the 22-year-old man who lived with her was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the attacks and illegal detention.

The woman, along with her minor daughter, was transferred to a hospital and from here the various social services were activated. The detainee was brought to justice on October 7 before the Sabadell Investigative Court on guard duty.
