The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the death, due to a possible homicide, of a man on the Rambla de Ponent in Tarragona. The events occurred around 12:00 noon, in broad daylight, at which time the Mossos received the notice. Up to three ambulances have traveled to the scene and have tried to save this man's life, although the efforts have been in vain.
The events apparently took place when the victim was leaving a parlor on Rambla de Ponent, at which time he was approached by another man who, after leaving him on the verge of death, fled.
The news of the possible violent death of this man has been confirmed by ACN, although as of early afternoon the official information on the matter remains very scarce.
The Mossos are looking for a man who fled on foot towards the N-340 as a possible perpetrator of this death. The Criminal Investigation Division of the Mossos has taken charge of the case.
