On Wednesday night, the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested three people who were trying to occupy a warehouse in the Canyadó neighborhood of Badalona (Barcelonès Nord). When they entered the property the alarm went off and the police went to the scene.
The three people then barricaded themselves inside the ship and responded to the police presence by throwing stones. The Mossos activated the ARRO unit and ended up being arrested.
The mayor of Badalona, Xavier Garcia Albiol, has congratulated the agents through a publication on social networks, where he warns that "squatters are not welcome in Badalona." Albiol assures that we must confront them "with all means" and that the performance of the Mossos on Wednesday "is the way" to follow.
