Luis Enrique continues to establish himself as one of the most popular amateur cyclists in the community. The Spanish soccer coach, recently eliminated from the World Cup in Qatar after being defeated on penalties by the Moroccan team, continues to appear on Twitch reviewing, among other things, his passion for cycling.
Bicycles, pro riders, races, routes, training... Luis Enrique is totally involved and dominates the sport of pedaling in a transversal way. In his amateur cycling career, he has participated in different races such as the Quebrantahuesos, Titan Desert, Epic, des Sables triathlon, Sa Costa Brava MTB and at 51 he still contemplates horizons to reach.
On this occasion, during a Twitch stream, he mentioned the well-known Mallorca 312, a popular ultra-distance race that takes place in the Sierra de Tramuntana, in the north of the island of Mallorca, frankly tough. Luis Enrique has recognized that he loves the race and that one day he will do it. "They have already invited me, he admits."
However, he acknowledged that he lacked training for such a long career that also coincides -April 29- with the greatest amount of work in his labor calendar with the national team. It is 312 kilometers with more than 2,500 meters of cumulative unevenness, an ascent of 900 meters, and a total of 4 climbs, as well as a finale full of steep slopes for which you have to know how to save some energy.
