He was the only representative of the Government in Congress after President Pedro Sánchez abandoned the IEF for the fifth consecutive year. Escrivá in his speech praised the role of family businesses in job creation and corporate social responsibility. "I would like to remind you that, until very recently, the words we heard were neither recognition nor the cordiality they were yesterday," he added.

Sendagorta has assured that there is currently a "climate of tension present in society." The president of family businesses has pointed out "institutional respect and the constitutional framework" as "essential" elements to develop the activity of companies and the progress of the country. Along the same lines, Sendagorta has said that "we will continue to offer our authorities a loyal dialogue."

Although the president of Sener has also detailed that where they do have more capacity to act is in "family and business governance."

In the closing day, the colloquium in which Joaquín Uriach, president of the family council of Grupo Uriach participated, was highlighted. The entrepreneur has explained how the company looks more and more like L'Oréal than Merck.
