Today I would like to show in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos an image taken in Talavera, in the Segarra region, where nature and, above all, greenery, are the protagonists.
A green fruit also of that green energy that is created in the windmills, and a green that also has to do with the field like the one seen in the photograph.
So walking around here and after taking the photo I thought, why not call this photo "The green of green energy." Without a doubt, a movie landscape.
Talavera is surrounded by towns of the original Segarra, a plateau that ranges from 450 to 900 meters in altitude and is located near the center of Catalonia, in the middle of the Segre river basin (to the west), the river basin Anoia and the Llobregat river basin (both to the east).
This is therefore a higher elevation than the surrounding lands. It is an area with an economic structure based on agriculture (the predominant crop is dryland cereals).
