Circoclassica Gran Circo Mundial, designed by Productos de Sonrisas, returns to Madrid for the fourth consecutive year. With the circus tent installed in the vicinity of the Ifema facilities, the show can be seen from November 24 to January 14.
This is Manuel González Villanueva's most intimate and personal project, which tells the story of many families who traveled the world turning their lives into an instrument at the service of illusion and magic.
This show, which lasts two hours with a 20-minute break, tries to immerse the whole family in the world of the circus, with jugglers and artists from all over the world. The triple somersaults and acrobatics leave young and old alike speechless. One of the most striking sequences, with a lot of adrenaline, is when ten motorcyclists spin in a 6-meter metal ball. Or another, when four intrepid Chilean trapeze artists create a hypnotic aerial dance.
And all enlivened by the master of ceremonies Johnny Rico, who in 2009 was recognized with the national circus award granted by the Ministry of Culture and live music, under the baton of maestro Germán Díaz.
Ticket prices start at 20 euros, but vary depending on the locations and days. Sometimes, discounts of 10%, 20% or 30% are activated, so you have to pay attention to the website. With a little time and patience, you can buy front row seats for 52 euros. And now in higher rows for 26 or 38 euros. Children up to 2 years old do not pay admission if they do not occupy a seat.
To get to Ifema you can go by metro taking line 8 and getting off at the Feria de Madrid stop for very quick access. Buses 73, 112, 122 and 828 also reach these areas. And if you choose to go by private vehicle on the M11, the exits are 5 and 7. On the M40, exits 5,6 and 7 serve. And in A2 corresponds to exit 7.
The organizers recommend arriving an hour before the show to enjoy the circus hall and the various activities proposed for the little ones in the family. On weekends there are three shows at 12 noon, at 4:30 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. and two on weekdays, although on Christmas days the three shows will continue.
