The employers' association has addressed the increase in the SMI in its Board of Directors this Wednesday in view of the "imminent" call to social agents that the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy is going to make to address the update of the SMI, as has been advanced these days the second vice president and minister of the branch, Yolanda Díaz. The CEOE highlights that the 3% proposal is above the 2% that the Government applies for civil servants in 2024. The organization states that in the calculation it has taken into account factors such as inflation or national productivity, as stated in the Statute of Workers, and which is in line with what was agreed with CCOO and UGT in the V Agreement for Employment and Collective Bargaining (AENC).
