The awkward moment between Salvador Sobral and Inés Hernand on the Goya red carpet: "Do you have anything else?"

This Saturday night, February 10, Spanish cinema dresses up for the celebration of the 38th edition of the Goya Awards. On this occasion, the emblematic awards are celebrated at the Valladolid Fair. There are many outstanding moments that have left both the red carpet and the gala, and although most have been fun and emotional anecdotes, there has also been room for controversies. One of them has involved Salvador Sobral and Inés Hernand.

The artist, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017 representing Portugal, walked the red carpet and left everyone with a bitter taste in their mouths after flatly refusing to talk about Zorra, the song performed by Nebulossa that won the Benidorm Fest and will be the representative of Spain in the event, which will be held in Mälmo on May 11.

Asked about Spain's candidacy in the European competition by Diego del Río, in charge of covering the red carpet for YOTELE, Sobral said he did not want to comment on the matter. "I don't know, I haven't heard it," he said then. However, the most tense moment would be experienced with the content creator Ines Hernand, who was in charge of connecting live with the red carpet for RTVE.

The influencer was not lucky either. The presenter, in her usual funny tone, asked Salvador Sobral if she had heard the song. "No," he said curtly. For her part, she, with her funny tone, and knowing the language barrier, in this case, tried to explain to the artist what the word means and the protest intention of the subject. "I already know very well what it means to be a slut," he expressed bluntly. "I don't know, the truth is that Eurovision... I don't know. Do you want something else?" he said, leaving everyone surprised.

"Yes, of course. About your performance. How are you doing tonight's performance? When are you coming out? More in the middle of the gala, or at the end?" the content creator then said, demonstrating her professionalism in everything moment. "I think at midnight," the interviewee stated then.

On the other hand, the networks exploded, and reminded the artist that his success is largely due to Eurovision. "This guy owes his career to Eurovision, what a disdain," expressed one Internet user. "It's normal to be asked about that," said another user on Without a doubt, one of the most tense moments of the gala, which has also left moments for later.
