The call is open until January 25, and applications must be submitted electronically, as in previous editions.
In 2023, a total of 5,891 applications were submitted, 60% from city areas and 40% from districts. Around 80% came from associations.
Proposals for activities must promote public or social interest with purposes such as, for example, improving social cohesion and inclusion, addressing the climate emergency or promoting the values of civility and coexistence. As a novelty, the purpose of promoting the growth of sports practice and the sports fabric as a key element in the quality of life of citizens is included.
This is the City Council's largest annual call. Up to twenty municipal valuation commissions participate, which are expected to issue a provisional resolution in the month of May and the final resolution in July, with the aim that payments are made from the second half of the year.
