The 10-year-old boy located up a tree in Madrid suffered from hypothermia and blows

One of those who disappeared after a car fell due to the downpour caused by DANA early Monday morning into the Alberche river as it passes through the Madrid town of Aldea de Fresno, a minor under 10 years of age, has been found alive perched on a tree , with hypothermia and blows, reports Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid.

Emergency services continue to search for a second missing person, the father of the minor. The mother and a daughter were also traveling in the vehicle, who appeared last night and were treated by the SUMMA 112 medical services and later transferred to the Rey Juan Carlos hospital.

Civil Guard sources cited by EFE have stated that the child was found by the guard of a private property and picked up by the Civil Guard's Roca team, which took him to the hospital. The minor's father is one of the two people that the Emergency services are looking for in the Community of Madrid after the floods. The other is an 83-year-old man who was swept away by the current in Villamanta.

The regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, explained in an appearance before the media that the family lives in Alcorcón but has a second home in Aldea del Fresno, where they moved out of concern about the effect that flooding could have on the house.

Aldea del Fresno -a municipality in the southwest of the Community of Madrid with 3,200 residents- has been one of the areas of the region hardest hit by DANA's past. The car plunged into the river yesterday at kilometer 18 of the M-507. The accesses to the Madrid municipality through this highway and the M-510 have been cut off since dawn due to the isolated depression at high levels (DANA).

According to sources from the Madrid Ministry of Health, the minor has been treated at the Navas del Rey Continuing Care Point (PAC) before being transferred to the Rey Juan Carlos public hospital, in Móstoles, where he will undergo a more complete assessment.

The storm has especially affected the southwestern area of the Community of Madrid. Most of the interventions have occurred in the municipalities close to Aldea del Fresno, such as Villa del Prado or Villamantina, where there have been numerous floods in homes and streets. The forecast is that it will continue to rain in the area until early in the morning.
