Martin Scorsese's foray into the history of the New York Dolls, predecessors of punk in 1970s New York, will be one of the documentaries that will be screened at the 21st edition of the In-Edit festival, to be held from October 26 to November 5 in Barcelona with works on Tom Jobim, Robert Gerhard and Ernesto Linares, drummer for Lagartija Nick and Los Planetas. The documentary also focuses on Gerhard's works that could be considered predecessors of electronic music.

In another musical range is Eric, the nickname of the former drummer of Lagartija Nick and Los Planetas, Ernesto Jiménez Linares. The importance of being called Ernesto and the bullshit of being called Eric is a journey through the music and inspiration of this veteran musician, which includes everything from punk to the steps of Easter as he lives his life full of drugs, parties, and anecdotes.

In addition to these titles that can be seen in Aribau cinemas, the festival has announced other titles such as Born Innocent: The Redd Kross Story, about the cult North American rock group led by Jeff and Steve McDonald, or Dusty
