The director of studies at the real estate portal Pilos.com, Ferran Font, explains that shared apartments are "the majority option for younger people", although he highlights the increase in adults who resort to this type of accommodation due to inflation. and the reduction of their savings capacity.

The age group that goes from 18 to 25 years old represents 51.05% in 2023 compared to 51.06% in 2022. The next range, from 26 to 35 years old, occupies the second position in this ranking year with 29.34%, a margin slightly higher than that of 2022 (29.32%). Third place is for tenants between 36 and 45 years old, who add up to 10.97% compared to 10.96% in 2022. Fourth place is for those between 46 and 60 years old, who have a percentage of 6 .56%, slightly below the 6.57% of last year. Those over 60 close the list with 2.08%, a figure equal to that of 2022.

Apartments that only accept girls have gone from 13.18% in 2022 to 19.45% in 2022. Those that only accept boys have gone from 2.11% in 2022 to 3.14% in 2022.
