The magistrate of the Court of Instruction number 2 of Barcelona has decreed provisional prison, communicated and without bail for the man who was arrested last Thursday for sexually assaulting a municipal cleaning worker of the Barcelona City Council in the Clot neighborhood.
The worker was attacked last Thursday at dawn when, on Rogent Street and Coll Vehí, the alleged aggressor approached her with her pants down, groped the woman - whom he tried to take off her clothes - and even threw her into the floor.
Faced with cries for help and the presence of neighbors and other workers, the man fled the scene until the Mossos and Guardia Urbana managed to arrest him near Meridiana Avenue.
After the episode of sexual violence, the woman suffered an anxiety crisis and several bruises all over her body.
The detainee would be related to two other crimes of sexual assault. The investigation is under the Investigation Unit of the Mossos d'Esquadra of Sant Martí.
