The two people who have been imprisoned are charged with crimes of injuries with life-threatening instruments and obstruction of justice, while the rest are being investigated for the same reasons and there is a restraining order against them. attacked persons, prohibition of communication with them, prohibition of possessing or carrying weapons and prohibition of access to the municipality of Los Villares. It is notable that all of them had remained unknown since the day of the events, on February 3, until last Monday, when Civil Guard agents arrested them.

Let us remember that at the end of January, a 16-year-old girl from the town reported having been the victim, along with another girl who was also a minor, of a sexual assault during a drinking party held by five boys, four of them residents of Los Villares and another from Jaén capital. The young people, aged 18 and one aged 14, were detained for this reason, interrogated and released provisionally while they are investigated for this event, with the exception of the minor, who was admitted to a juvenile center in the capital of Jaén. After this news became known, the neighbors began to take a stand and the atmosphere began to heat up, since another woman recognized one of the members of this 'pack' and also reported him for having raped her a year ago.
With these investigations underway, the five individuals were released but with a series of precautionary measures to protect the victims, including the prohibition of communication or approaching the victims, an extreme that was broken by one of the accused and that It ended with the confrontation between both families, that of the alleged aggressor and the victim.
