Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will have two new series on Netflix

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, continue their journey through the world of entertainment. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are immersed in two new television projects: two non-fiction productions about lifestyle and the world of polo, which will be broadcast on the Netflix platform.

The youngest son of King Charles III and his wife thus continue their work as executive producers with these two new projects. In the first of them, it is proposed to explore areas such as "the pleasures of cooking, gardening, entertainment and friendship"; while the others will focus on polo, which will provide "unprecedented access" to the world of professional competition in this sport.

The two non-fiction productions will be made by Archewell Productiones, a company of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Meghan Markle will focus on the lifestyle project, while her husband, Prince Harry, will be responsible for the series dedicated to polo.

Sport has always been a favorite of the current British sovereign, and will give him the opportunity to share his passion with viewers. Prince Harry will thus show the ins and outs of the United States Open Polo Championship: from how his players prepare to what it takes to compete at the highest level.

This is not the first time that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have ventured into audiovisual projects with Netflix, as these would represent the fourth and fifth in their multimillion-dollar contract with the streaming giant.

In August 2023, the couple launched the Heart Of Invictus platform, as a preview of the Invictus Games - the Paralympic-style sports competition for military personnel and war veterans - founded by the prince himself in collaboration with his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.

In addition, Netflix counted on the couple to launch two other projects: Live to Lead (2023) and the series Harry and Meghan (2022), where they told how they lived their time within the Royal Family, accusing the Crown of lying to protect the heir, Prince William, during the controversial departure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from their duties as members of the institution, in 2020.

Archewell Productions is part of the Archewell foundation, founded in 2020 by the couple with the promise of changing things in the world. Started after renouncing its royal titles and public funding, the non-profit organization and company has been working to deliver on its promises. Archewell Productions, in particular, has a staff made up of the best professionals in the sector.
