Porsche has expanded its successful range of electric bicycles with two new models produced in collaboration with the specialist Rotwild. The Porsche eBike Cross Performance (€12,900) is aimed at those users who demand the best performance in terms of chassis and braking. For its part, the Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC (€13,900) has the peculiarity that it comes in six original colors of the brand's vehicles.
The new Porsche eBike Cross Performance is equipped with Fox Factory suspension in combination with the new and powerful Shimano EP-801 motor, and with the 630 Wh battery, it guarantees maximum performance on the trails, while the 12-speed electric transmission helps to choose Always the right gear both on the flat and when facing slopes.
The Performance EXC offers maximum individualization and is an example of craftsmanship, thanks to selected colors from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The customer can choose between Ruby Star Neo, Ice gray metallic, Mamba green metallic, Carmine red, Shade green metallic and Shark blue. All of these special paints are part of Porsche history and enjoy cult status among Porsche enthusiasts.
The EP 801 motor offers two driving profiles: the first has three assistance modes (Eco, Trail and Boost) and the second allows up to 15 assistance parameters to be individually configured through the Fine Tune mode. The Auto Shift function operates the gear changing system independently and the Free Shift function allows you to make transitions without pedaling.
In the braking section, the Magura MT7 team, with a forged aluminum 4-piston caliper, guarantees optimal deceleration. And the Fox 34 Float Factory suspension fork, with 120mm of travel, offers a great level of comfort together with the Fox Float DPS Factory rear shock, with 100mm of travel.
The Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro Carbon rim set provides directional stability with different spoke tension on the front and rear wheel. Finally, Rotwild's B220 Flatriser 35 handlebar is made of carbon and 780mm wide, while the carbon frame, whose design is inspired by the "flyline" roofline of the 911 and the Taycan, is adorned with type lettering. Performance in a matching Fox Factory color scheme.
