This Tuesday morning, the Mossos d'Esquadra and the Civil Guard activated a joint police operation against jihadist terrorism in the province of Barcelona and Extremadura.
According to reports from both police forces on the social network 'X', they have agents deployed in the Catalan towns of Rubí, Sant Pere de Ribes and Martorell (Barcelona). Entries are also being made in the Extremaduran city of Mérida (Badajoz).
To this end, in the operation the Mossos have been deployed with different units of the force: General Information Commissariat, TEDAX, GEI, Regional Operational Resources Area, Canine and Scientific Police.
The investigation is under confidentiality and the facts are being investigated by the Central Investigative Court 6 of the National Court.
