Pablo Chiapella shares the latest advances on José Luis Gil's health

José Luis Gil continues to recover from the stroke he suffered at the end of 2021. The little information that is arriving suggests that the La que se cerca actor is not able to fully recover. His family and colleagues have been giving little pills about his state of health.

Pablo Chiapella, one of his co-stars in the famous Telecinco series, has updated the Aragonese actor's health status at the Forqué Awards. According to Chiapella, the biggest problem that Gil faces is the inability to speak: "he is in good health, what happens is that he has a speech problem and that he is in a slow recovery."

Furthermore, the man from Albacete had words of great affection towards his partner, whom he defined as "a magnificent guy, a dedicated guy, who helps you, a brutal energy, he is always in a good mood, he is a very funny guy."

In this sense, Chiapella has explained that he really wants Gil to finally recover definitively so that he can return to La que se cerca: "To me, in addition, José Luis seems like an actor like the top of a pine tree and he gave a lot of power to the series. The sooner he recovers, the better for everyone."

Chiapella has not been the only one who has spoken out about Gil's state of health. Carlota Boza, another of the actresses in the series, has also recently spoken about the actor's progress, although she did not have as much information available: "He is progressing very slowly, I know little else."

On the other hand, Alberto Caballero, the creator of La que se cerca, expressed his concern and that of the entire series team for Gil's health in May 2023. According to Caballero, Gil is a fundamental pillar in the series, being the only actor present since the first episode. Therefore, his absence is being felt. "The recovery is slow, but the guy does not lack energy and we hope and trust that he will fully recover. What happens is that it takes longer than we would all like," he said.
