A hundred Mossos agents from different units are deployed this Tuesday in a device against drug trafficking, mainly marijuana and hashish, in the metropolitan area of Barcelona.
As reported by the Generalitat Police, various entries and searches are being carried out in the operation to dismantle several drug trafficking networks in various locations in the Barcelona area.
The attacks are being carried out both in the homes of those investigated and in industrial warehouses and other locations where there would be plantations.
Among the Mossos units that participate in the device are the Criminal Investigation Division, ARRO (Regional Operational Resources Area), the Canine Unit and the Citizen Security Unit.
In addition to crimes against public health, the Mossos investigate the members of these networks for crimes of electrical fraud, derived from the cultivation of marijuana plants.
