American track and field Olympic champion Tori Bowie died in May of complications in childbirth, according to autopsy results released Tuesday.
Bowie, 32, was found dead on May 2 at her home in Florida and the autopsy, to which the US media had access, mentions "respiratory problems and eclampsia" as possible causes of her death.
The athlete was in the eighth month of her pregnancy and was giving birth at the time of her death, according to the same sources.
The company that represents him, Icon Management, reported his death in May, without releasing news about the possible causes.
