Niesmann Bischoff Flair 880: the luxury of a liner motorhome in a compact size

Traveling by motorhome is a way of understanding vacations. Everything changes when the route becomes the fundamental aspect of the adventure, giving the trip a leading role in it. Of course, being passionate about nomadic life is not incompatible with design, sophistication and comfort. That is what the manufacturers of luxury motorhomes know a lot about, a concept of leisure vehicle that elevates every inch of the cabin for the demanding customers of brands such as Niesmann Bischoff.

From August 26 to September 9, the Düsseldorf Caravaning Show is held, the most prestigious meeting in the sector. Among all the novelties, we have chosen the Niesmann Bischoff Flair 880 as one of the most outstanding for its refinement and supreme quality, but also for being a model capable of introducing the superior concept in a small body.

As far as size is concerned, Liners are a segment outside of market trends. For this reason, talking about a compact model with 8.87 meters long makes all the sense in the world. This Niesmann Bischoff Flair 880 is the smaller sister of the Flair 920, which measures 9.27 m long, and adopts the same configuration in 40 centimeters less length.

It is not surprising that the manufacturer of Polch adopts the aesthetic and equipment nods that have worked so well in the Flair range, but this time in a space designed to combine that sumptuousness with the practicality, versatility and ease of driving of a lighter vehicle. For this, it has not had to give up noble and quality materials, but they have taken the opportunity to slightly evolve its exterior design.

Built on the chassis of the Iveco Daily 70 C18, this 180 hp model stands out for the introduction of new safety systems and driving aids. To the usual rolling comfort in a Niesmann Bischoff Flair we add this time the Emergency Braking, the adaptive cruise control and the involuntary lane departure warning In addition, the Flair continues to be the only motorhome that has an airbag, ESP and pre -crash, common in high-end cars.

An evolution that they wanted to show at first glance, with slight tweaks to the exterior graphics. It maintains a modern design, but with a sporty touch of straight, sober and simple lines in combination with the tinted windows. In turn, the front and rear light clusters create a distinctive lighting signature, enhancing class and adding a perceived technology bonus.

The sensation of space is the first impact when accessing a Niesmann Bischoff Flair 880, which, let's not forget, is smaller than the 920 model. Even so, it manages to adapt an identical configuration to those centimeters less surface area and, for this, the living room face-to-face is ideal. Seats with belts for circulation become a comfortable sofa while camping, as well as being able to lower the folding table to have a greater feeling of space.

The corridor to the rear area, where the large bed is located, is completely clean, giving up the ceiling area to a large number of cupboards that provide perfect storage space. Optionally, the client can choose to add two bunk beds or a second lift bed in the common area.

If there is one attribute shared by all Niesmann Bischoff models, it is the timeless beauty of their interiors. The simplicity of the furniture of this Flair 880 is key to providing that spaciousness, while transmitting a sensation of cleanliness, purity and superior elegance.

In this case, the rectangular shapes modernize your cabin, but also significantly improve its practicality. The kitchen space finished in stone effect, for example, is spacious and with the necessary surface to prepare the best menus on its two burners or induction hob.

The sink is designer, as is the choice of a built-in fridge in the “Nogal tablón” brown tone of the furniture or the oven in an aluminum tone. For the bathrooms, on the other hand, they opted for the color "Breeze Oak" or matt white, which is also repeated in the drawers under the rear double bed. Leaving the sink open is another success of the designers, who have perfectly understood the trends in luxury interior design.

As for its autonomy, it has a 100Ah battery that, optionally, can be powered by 220 or 440 W solar panels. By hiding the electrical installation under the floor, it also increases the storage capacity without giving up the independence they grant 370 liters of clean water tank and 250 l of gray water. In addition, the optional pack that increases the capacity of the toilet to 200 liters.
