Neymar played a poker tournament the day after PSG's loss to Bayern

Neymar has always been involved in extra-sports controversies throughout his career and at 31 he is not going to change. After PSG's defeat against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 (0-1), Kylian Mbappé asked that the players of the Parisian team rest and eat well in order to come back in the second leg, but the Brazilian preferred to digest defeat with other plans.

The day after losing to the Bavarians, Neymar spent the day off playing a poker tournament at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Paris. The striker was quickly eliminated from the event organized by PokerStars but later participated with more success in the Mystery Bounty, another tournament whose entry is worth 10,000 euros.

Neymar went to the second round of the tournament that is being played this Thursday, finishing 30th out of 45, and after the end of the event he went with his friends to a well-known fast food restaurant in the French capital, as reflected in his Instagram account one of his companions.

The Brazilian played all 90 minutes of the match against the Germans, which was decided in favor of the visitors with a single goal from Coman in the second half. Neymar tried to create danger throughout the game, most of the time with individual plays, but he hardly disturbed the goal defended by Sommer.

Despite his 17 goals and 16 assists so far this season, his questionable performance in big games and his controversies have once again fueled rumors about his possible departure from the club next summer. Todd Boehly's billionaire's Chelsea are the latest team that seems interested in making use of Neymar's services.
