New twist in the case of Álvaro Prieto: he did not jump from the bridge, that's how he reached the roof of the train

Since last Monday the body of Álvaro Prieto, the young man from Córdoba who had disappeared last Thursday at the Santa Justa station, was found dead, there has been numerous information regarding how he could have reached the narrow gap between two trains.

Yes, until yesterday the information indicated that he had jumped from the bridge, walked on the roof and been electrocuted after touching the catenary, thus receiving an electric shock. Now, Code 10 reveals new information that turns the case around. And, as Nacho Abad explained this Tuesday, the young man would not have jumped from the bridge, since the police have found other key evidence.

After the discovery of Álvaro Prieto's body last Monday when a Mañaneros television team was live, investigators have focused on finding out the young man's last steps until reaching the workshops at the Santa Justa station.

In fact, one of the unknowns had to do with how the death occurred. According to the autopsy, the young man died from an electric shock when he touched the catenary. However, here the mystery hovers over when we recompose those last minutes where the cameras of a nearby gas station capture him on the roof of the train. How could he get there?

One of those that was being considered was that Álvaro had jumped from a bridge onto the train to try to sneak onto one and thus reach Córdoba after having lost his own. But, Álvaro's body was not found on the train that was under the bridge, but on a different one. This is how Nacho Abad explained it this Tuesday in Code 10:

“First, there is a two-meter fence on the bridge. It's not just putting your foot out and that's it. Furthermore, the train under the bridge is 599. 'Cinco' means diesel and Álvaro's body appears on 499, an electric train. Therefore, if you jump from the bridge to this train, you have to get off and get on the next one. "He's not going to jump from train to train because it's impossible."

Then the presenter, standing in front of the screen and with an illustrative map, continues the explanation with information provided exclusively by the police to the program. “It has been confirmed that he does not jump because under the bridge is train 599 and his body appears on 449. He entered and climbed through the gap between cars,” the journalist asserted.

“Why can we categorically affirm the information that it comes up here? Because the scientific police intervene and use powder to reveal fingerprints on the inside of the cars. They have found traces of ascending hands: those of Álvaro Prieto,” Abad revealed in a turn of events.

“According to this information, when he goes up to the roof is when he touches something that gives him that shock and he falls back into that junction between cars, because the drones that flew over the area flew over there and did not find the body. The body was between the cars from the beginning,” added his colleague David Aleman.

And finally, he provided a new detail of the event: the electric shock would have entered through the left hand and exited through the abdomen.
