New CaraLife 630 LQ camper: you don't even sleep in a bed that big at home

Browsing social networks may seem like a waste of time, but it is also the place where we can find everything. From tutorials to fix any machine, to tricks to save on all your trips. An adventure that could well be carried out at the controls of an innovative and irreverent large volume camper like the Weinsberg CaraLife 630 LQ.

It was officially presented at the CMT Stuttgart caravanning fair and soon became one of the most acclaimed novelties of the show that begins with the tour of fairs in Europe. Built on the Fiat Ducato, this model, 6.36 meters long by 2.05 m wide and 2.85 m high, has an interior that changes everything.

We will not be able to access the cabin from the pilot and co-pilot seats, since they are separated by a panel. In addition, up to 3 people can travel in the front positions thanks to an extra seat, adopted directly from the commercial vehicle segment. It is reminiscent of some homemade camperization that is based on models previously used for the transportation of goods.

Its interior height is 1.89 meters and it does not have a bathroom, a weak point compared to rivals that offer greater habitability in this regard. In return, its layout offers endless advantages and record-breaking space for life on board. For example, when entering we find the kitchen on the right, on the wall that separates the cabin from the passenger compartment. It is equipped with two stoves, a 90-liter refrigerator with access from the outside and a sink, which we can also use as a sink to wash ourselves, with a mirror and a movable cabinet.

Flexibility is key in this camper. The chemical toilet, for example, is stored under the right bench in the living room, and the folding shower is located between said seats. Having to set up and take down the dining room is not the most comfortable or agile for a trip, but it has an advantage: it allows you to create a unique living space. In addition, with 100 liters of clean water tank capacity, autonomy is assured.

The new Weinsberg Caralife 630 LQ model adds a folding roof, with a bed for two.

Giving up a bathroom and placing the kitchen in front allows you to install a central table with longitudinal benches on the sides. The table is removable and just behind it is the double bed, which can expand its size up to 2.1 x 2 meters. There is no such large bed in today's large volume campers and, for many adventurers, modularity is a more than justified process in exchange for that comfort during the nights.

Personalization is another of the details most valued by young nomads, so Weinsberg allows certain choices on the part of the buyer. In addition to the decorative elements on the exterior, there are countless accessories for the cabin such as lamps, shelves, storage solutions and the possibility of choosing between Savannah Beige or Alaska Gray upholstery.

As for equipment, this camper has Truma diesel heating, a 20V converter, solar panels to capture energy independently and, for the most demanding, it also has a 32-inch television. The prices of these units are not yet known, but it may be one of their best attributes as it requires less camperization than its direct rivals.
