Nacho Vidal: the judge insists that he was not guilty of homicide for the 'bufo toad' ritual

Today is a good day for Nacho Vidal. As this newspaper has just learned, the head of the Investigative Court of Xàtiva has rejected the appeal presented by the private prosecution against the provisional file of the case regarding the famous adult film actor and producer. “There is no sufficient evidence of the participation as author of Mr. Ignacio Jordá in the death of Mr. Abad.” The judge believes that the cause of José Luis Abad's death was the joint consumption of cocaine and DMT (the psychoactive substance present in the skin of a certain amphibian) and "not being able to separate one from the other."

Nacho Vidal was arrested in June 2020 as a possible perpetrator of a reckless homicide for the death of a photographer who underwent a ritual directed by him and which consists of smoking bufantoin, the poison extracted from the Sonoran toad or bufo alvarius, a very powerful hallucinogenic, precisely to combat his drug addiction. This rite has grown in popularity in Mexico. His honor considered that the photographer underwent the ceremony voluntarily and that he had previously consumed cocaine, which led to his death due to an adverse reaction. The judge filed the case on May 9 and the prosecution agreed.
