More than 200 artists participate in a new festival of works that stick together

More than 200 artists from all over are participating these days in the second edition of the International Paste up Festival Barcelona. Paste up is a manifestation of urban art consisting of gluing works made in studios, like advertising posters. It has nothing to do with people who sneak into garages to paint subway cars. An example is the large photographs of homeless people signed by Teo Vázquez and recently displayed in many facilities to draw attention to the problems of those most in need.

This festival kicked off with a festive exhibition of Rockaxson photos at the Canal Gallery art gallery. This Gothic space directed by the street artist and curator Balu quickly became a benchmark for urban art in Barcelona. Yesterday's highlight was at Nau Bostik. Today, the event will take place at the Espronceda Institute of Art
