Morant signs his rivals to lead the PSPV for the 'non-primary' campaign

The PSPV wants to rebuild the unity that seemed to be in danger due to the call for a congressional process with up to three candidates. With the withdrawal of two of them official, the only candidate for the General Secretariat of the party, the Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, Diana Morant, has decided not to miss the opportunity to campaign internally and consolidate organically. For this reason, despite having no rivals, Morant has not given up campaigning in primaries (not primaries) and has signed up for it her two rivals: Alejandro Soler and Carlos Fernández Bielsa.

In fact, Morant has appointed the mayor of Elda, Rubén Alfaro, as coordinator of his campaign. Alfaro is one of Alejandro Soler's most trusted people and was at his side last Saturday when the national deputy for Alicante announced his intention to attend the process.

Sources close to the minister indicated that "the campaign will be focused on listening to the militancy and arriving at the congress that will be held on March 22, 23 and 24 with a solid project of unity that brings together all concerns."

Thus, the first of the scheduled events will be a meeting with militants that will take place next Sunday morning, February 4, in the city of Alicante. A call that will have the participation of the general secretary of the province of Alicante, Alejandro Soler, a sign of this will for the integration that is being negotiated, not without difficulties.

Likewise, the same sources pointed out that, during the next week, an event is scheduled to be held in the province of Valencia, where Morant will also be accompanied by the general secretary of the province, Carlos Fernández Bielsa, the other leader who came to present his candidacy.
