Monumental scare of Nuria Roca live by a “giant animal”

This Sunday, La Roca, the program presented by Nuria Roca on La Sexta, returned to the programming after the break of the Christmas holidays. And she did it with new guests and also with the occasional anecdote experienced live and even starring the Valencian.

In fact, one of the great moments of the afternoon happened when Nuria Roca herself was startled when she saw what, according to her, was “a giant animal.” A surprising reaction from the presenter, including screams and gestures of fear, which made her colleagues on the set laugh, but also the viewers from her homes.

A live television program is something alive and, as such, any last-minute information or event can occur and, therefore, must be reported on. However, this circumstance, that everything happens live, entails numerous risks that are not under the control of the program management.

We are talking not only about technical or connection problems, but also about blunders, linguistic lapses or exacerbated reactions to something tiny. The latter is precisely what happened this Sunday in La Roca when Nacho García was talking about vacations and the feared return to routine, mainly to work.

Then, Nuria Roca wanted to point out something about the typical vacation discomfort when, suddenly, she screamed and reacted in a startled manner. “Ouch!” She said with a terrified face and moving quickly. “Have you seen it?” she heard herself say. “He was that fat,” explained the presenter in relation to a species of insect that dared to disturb the peace of the table.

And, for the second time, the aforementioned invertebrate approached the Valencian again, which caused a second scream and more fuss while her companions did not stop mocking her. “There is a bat,” Juan del Val blurted out.

It is “a giant animal,” said Sara Ramos,” while Nacho García sarcastically pointed to one “in danger of extinction.” Luckily for Roca and those present, the insect did not return to the set, nor did it attack her presenter, and the gathering was able to continue without any more scares.
