It has not been an easy year for María del Monte. The singer experienced a very complicated situation when her home in Gines was robbed last August, at the hands of a Portuguese gang of thieves.
The situation took a most unexpected turn when it was discovered that one of those involved was Antonio Tejado, his own nephew. After several weeks of silence, María del Monte has explained on television how she feels.

Of course, the Andalusian does not want people to feel sorry for her, emphasizing that there are people "who will be worse off than us." Finally, del Monte decided to share with Bertín a phrase that has helped her a lot in these times: "Don't look at what you don't have, look at what you have and you'll see how much you have left over."
