The Fallas of Valencia have begun to show their first details today with the reception of the first ninots at the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum. The hall of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències hosts once again the Ninot Exhibition, which will be inaugurated by the Falleras Mayores de València next Friday, starting at 7 p.m.
In total there will be more than 770 ninots, both adults and children, that will occupy this space in which the visiting public will decide the two "ephemeral art" creations that will be saved from the 'Cremà' fire on March 19.
The pieces began to arrive in stages early this Monday and will continue to do so until Tuesday at 9 p.m. However, as usual, the largest influx is expected for the late hours of Tuesday afternoon, as reported to Europa Press from the Fallera Central Board (JCF).
The first piece to reach the space was that of the Poeta Emili Baró-Enric Ginesta commission, a work by the artist Víctor Caballero, which competes in section 5ªB. In the case of the children, moments before the scene of the children's falla by Vicente Sancho Tello-Chile, by the artisan Ángel Navarro, did so. The figure competes in the 2nd section.
Throughout the morning they also landed in the City of the Arts, among others, Vicente Gomar's 'doll' for the children's falla of Almirante Cadarso-Conde de Altea, in the First section; that of Toni Pérez for the great failure of this same commission; in Special section, those of David Sánchez Llongo for Exposición-Micer Mascó and Maestro Gozalbo-Conde Altea, in Special section and 1ªA, respectively, or those of Vicente Llácer and Mario Pérez for Duque de Gaeta-Pobla de Farnals, in section 1ªB and Each one of them is special for children.
Other artists such as Juanjo García, Víctor Caballero, Vicente Llácer, Víctor Navarro, Sergio Carrero and Joserra Lisarde have also deposited their creations in the early hours of the morning.
Next Friday's event with the Ninot Exhibition is one of the highlights of the fallero program, which this weekend has exalted its top representatives, María Estela Arlandis and Marina García, in separate Exaltations held in a reopened Palau de la Música .
Starting Friday, every weekend there will be festive programming in a race of events that will peak on Sunday, March 25, Crida de la fiesta. Before, there will have been a mascletà in the streets of Madrid, as agreed by the mayors of both cities. Still without a location, the fireworks in the capital will also seek to seduce the people of Madrid with the attraction of the Fallas festival, which is officially celebrated between March 16 and 19 in Valencia.
