Las Fallas arrive this weekend in municipalities such as Montserrat, Turís, Catadau or Montroi

Municipalities in the province of Valencia such as Montserrat, Montroi, Turís and Catadau celebrate this weekend their respective fiestas de las Fallas, two weeks after the end of the Josephine festivities in the city of Valencia, the 'cap and casal', with a program that includes events such as the traditional 'Plantà', the Offering to the Patrona, parades, rides and the 'Cremà', among other activities.

The reason why these towns celebrate their Fallas a week after those of Valencia - on this occasion a couple due to the Easter holidays - is to avoid the coincidence with those of the capital, since they go there to play numerous music bands and musical groups from these municipalities.

At the same time, after the Fallas of València, it is common for numerous falleros and falleras from the 'cap i casal' commissions to travel to these towns during these days to witness the celebration of the festivities.

In the case of Montserrat, the events started last Wednesday and will continue until this Sunday. The program includes 'mascletaes', the Offering to the Virgin of the Desamparados or the 'Cremà' and complementary activities such as festivals, discomobiles or parades, with the purpose that "everyone can enjoy", highlighted by the town council of this town .

Regarding Montroi, the fallera activity began on Thursday with the 'Plantà' and will conclude this Sunday with the 'Cremà'. Before, this Saturday afternoon the Offering to the Mare de Déu will be celebrated, as well as a parade through the town.

For its part, Turís celebrates the Fallas week from April 4 to 7. The activities begin with the 'Plantà' of the town's five fallas and the 'Nit de les albaes', in a program that includes parades, pyrotechnics, discomobiles and the fire ride.

In addition, this Saturday afternoon the Offering of flowers to the Virgin will be celebrated, in which invited commissions from other towns in the province will participate and which will be finished by the queen of the popular and patron saint festivals, Minerva Palmero, and her court of honor.

They started their fiestas falleras this Wednesday with the 'Plantà' and the 'Night of the Dawn', will continue this Saturday with the Offering to the Mother of God of the Desperate and will come to an end on Sunday with the fire of the 'Cremà' .

Finally, the Raval de Alcàsser falla also celebrates the festivities this weekend, with the firing of 'mascletaes' and fireworks or the Offering of flowers.
