Kany García, a cocktail of tropical magic and human soul

Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Kany García arrives today at Sala Paral·lel 62 (9 p.m.), as part of a European tour to present her new album El amor que merecemos.

The successful Latin artist started a brief European tour a few days ago in Seville, with four Spanish dates – which this year aspires to two Latin Grammys. The successful artist arrives endorsed by her proposal that combines Latin pop, tropics, romantic tunes and very heartfelt lyrics.

The singer and guitarist is offering in these concerts a sample of the songs that make up her aforementioned album -the eighth studio album-, although she also dives into her previous work with bombs such as DPM (by pxta madre) or La libreta, in a career in which she has been nominated for the Latin Grammys on more than twenty occasions.

And of those nominations she has won six times, and for this year's edition she aspires to the top in the categories of Pop Vocal Album for the aforementioned El amor que deservemos, and Tropical Song for Agüita e coco, included in the album .

For the Billboard referential, the aforementioned album is one of the 22 most relevant Latin albums of 2022, and it also includes collaborations by Alejandro Sanz in Muero, Rozalén in Justito a tiempo and Jay Wheeler in Don't come back.

García has recently published his new single The Next with the Mexican musician Christian Nodal, an idol in the region.

At 40 years old, Encarnita García de Jesús -which is what the singer is called- is making a significant step forward in opening new markets and audiences, after consolidating her name and her heartfelt songs in the United States and part of Latin America, where it has been touring throughout this year and will continue until early 2023.
