Judge Pedraz investigates David Madí in the Egara Ambulances case

The Mossos d'Esquadra have notified businessman David Madí this Wednesday morning that the National Court is investigating him for the Egara Ambulances case, related to the 3% cause, as RAC1 has advanced and La Vanguardia has been able to confirm.

The investigating magistrate of the 3% case, Santiago Pedraz, suspects that the businessman and former CDC Communication Secretary could be involved in this case, which is investigating whether the Generalitat would have awarded contracts to Egara ambulances irregularly.

Last week, the Mossos searched the headquarters of the company, which police sources place in the orbit of 3%, the network of companies that would have received public concessions in exchange for irregular commissions to CDC. This is the Gordian knot that Pedraz tries to undo in the Hearing and two separate pieces are hanging: that of the Triacom production company and that of Ambulancias Egara. At the moment, the judge has not summoned Madí to testify and wants to wait for the results of last week's searches.

Madí was already listed as being investigated (the one previously known as the defendant) in the separate piece for the Triacom case and now it will also be in the Egara Ambulances.

Consulted by RAC1, the businessman has categorically denied his alleged involvement in the case and has described the investigation as "botched assembly". Madí added that, although the judge has not yet set a date, he will go to testify when it is his turn to "unmask Spanish justice."
