Ione Belarra has raised the tone of her criticism of the President of the Government for the situation in Gaza. The acting Minister of Social Rights and Agenda 2030 and General Secretary of Podemos denounced this Sunday that Pedro Sánchez "is not up to the gravity of the circumstances" in the Middle East.
Belarra has participated in a demonstration that toured the center of Madrid in support of Palestine, and before the media she has once again demanded "that the "planned genocide" and "ethnic cleansing" that Isarel is carrying out end once and for all. perpetrating against the Palestinian people.
Belarra has denounced that European leaders, "including ours, are not up to the gravity of the circumstances" nor are citizens who "do not want to be complicit" in what is happening in Gaza. "Europe has to act urgently," she claimed, convinced that "it will pay dearly for the hypocrisy of proclaiming human rights" in other regions of the world but "when it is necessary to show your face, do absolutely nothing."
In his opinion, in the face of this conflict, the position of the European Union "is subordinated" to the United States and Israel, and in response to this he once again requested that relations with Israel be suspended, the approval of "exemplary" economic sanctions against the "dome" policy" of that country, an arms embargo, and taking the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, before the International Criminal Court to be tried "for what he is, a war criminal.
