Gray on green in the rural landscape of Vallès

Today I would like to show some images that I have taken for La Vanguardia Readers' Photos in the municipality of La Roca del Vallès, in the Vallès Oriental region.

Some images where the main element is that grayish sky that we have been having these last few days, largely due to the presence of the haze.

A gray sky that reduces visibility and worsens air quality, although it also makes the fields stand out more that green color that they are already taking on with spring.

Without a doubt a somewhat ugly day due to that gray sky, but usable, due to the temperatures that we are registering in the Vallès Oriental.

Haze is a meteorological phenomenon that consists of the presence in the atmosphere of small particles of dust, ash, clay or sand in suspension.

There are two different types of haze. The first, known as type A, occurs when the suspended particles are dust, salts such as sodium or elements from the environment. Type B is produced by special events, such as forest fires or other polluting events.
