From the saving crane to the sign-eating tree... In La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos we can see a summary of ten curious images, of complaints or with a message collected this week in The Reader's Mailbox.

I captured this photograph on March 11 on Monegal Street in Barcelona, next to the Putxet Park in Barcelona, where the Torre del Putxet Residence and Day Center is being built. I was positively surprised by the efforts they were making to save this tree, with what it must cost to rent a crane of that size just to move the poor little tree. With this image we see that things are still done for nature in Barcelona.

On Sunday, March 10, the Zurich Barcelona Marathon was held in Barcelona, which this year had 20,000 runners through its streets, the third best number of participants in its history. The 45th edition debuted a route with a total of 42,195 km and took its participants through a good number of emblematic buildings in the city. This edition had Abraham Tedesse and Degitu Azimeraw as winners in the male and female categories, respectively. The Swiss athlete of Eritrean origin broke the record with a time of 2h 05:01 while the Ethiopian female athlete was 8 seconds away from the record with a time of 2h 19:52. The edition has also broken a record for female participation with 5,000 runners.

It's only a matter of time before there is an accident. I live in the porch next to the entrance to the Teatre Coliseum on Gran Via in Barcelona. The sidewalk is only one meter wide and at the entrance or exit of the functions, a crowd of people forms on a road along which buses pass at full speed. Even when?

The last blessed rain that fell in Gavà left us beautiful postcards. The water-thirsty tree was grateful for the water.

In this image I show how it rains on the beach of Sant Salvador, in Coma-ruga (El Vendrell).

I have captured this photograph to show how grateful the flowers are for the rain.

I want to show this photo of the Barcelona papers. Zero functionality! At the slightest bit of wind, all the garbage from the bins goes on the floor again, like a fish that eats its tail and on top of that a waste of time and little respect for the people who have to clean it again. The motto Cuidem Barcelona should be reviewed.

Fortunately, compared to uncivil graffiti, there is also urban art, minor and frugal, spontaneous. Like this work that can be seen on the Passeig Marítim in Poblenou. It is ephemeral, but imaginative and a little improvised.

I share this photograph taken on a corner of Madrid capital, which reminds us that "dignity is always struggle, struggle is always dignity."

It is clear that this banana tree in Pineda de Mar does not like us to park under it.
