From Milena Smit to Alice Campello: the most impressive looks at the Venice Film Festival

This past Wednesday night the starting gun was given to the 80th edition of the Venice Film Festival. An appointment that this year is marked by the strike of Hollywood actors and scriptwriters, who have declined to attend this event that will last until Saturday, September 9.

Black was the main color of the inaugural carpet of La Mostra. Milena Smit was one of the most spectacular guests of the night in her Saint Laurent design, with a plunging sweetheart neckline and flowing sleeves that morphed into seductive gloves. The Spanish actress accompanies this column silhouette dress with golden jewels and red lips that provided the perfect touch to this very suggestive look.

Alice Campello appeared on the red carpet with a Giorgio Armani design that had a most original body, covered in sequins and with crossed straps over the neckline. Her skirt, straight and with pockets, enhanced the slender figure of the Italian, who finished off the outfit with black Saint Laurent sandals.

The Italian actress Caterina Murino, presenter of this edition, dressed to match the rug with a design from the Armani Privé Fall/Winter 2024 Haute Couture collection. An A-shaped silhouette piece with a strapless neckline and small tulle and glitter ruffles.

Bianca Brandolini opted for the infallible duo of black and white with a creation by Schiaparelli. A block-format dress that had a strapless neckline and draping detail on the chest area.

Toni Garrn brought the trend for metallic designs to La Mostra with a piece by Alberta Ferretti. The model was radiant with a strapless neckline and flared hem that was made with metal plates that provided the rigid structure.

Bianca Balti brought a splash of color to the red carpet in a sky blue draped design by Ermanno Scervino. The model was radiant in a dress with a sweetheart neckline and a flowing skirt with an opening that revealed her metallic sandals.

Paola Turani wore a white Zuhair Murad design that stood out for its halter neck embellished with gemstones. The Italian model finished off her minimalist look with Cartier jewelry.

The designer Elisabetta Franchi was another of the guests who dazzled on the red carpet. The Italian opted for a 1920s-style slip dress that was embellished with rhinestones and fringes. She completed the look with an oversized jacket over her shoulders and a mini metallic bag.
