Four arrested and a marijuana plantation dismantled in L'Ametlla del Vallès

The Mossos and the Local Police of l'Ametlla del Vallès have dismantled a marijuana plantation in a warehouse in the town and have arrested four people. The Mossos carried out an entry and search of the warehouse on March 23 and found 1,400 plants.

The ship was sealed and on the 24th, at dawn, local police officers warned that the seal was broken and noise could be heard inside. Then the Mossos went to the site and found several cut plants ready to take away. They also located four people hiding on the roof, so the Firefighters were also notified to take them down. The men got out and were detained.

The arrests took place on March 24 and the detainees are four men aged 23, 25, 28 and 31 who were arrested as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health and electricity fraud. The investigation remains open and more arrests are not ruled out.

The investigation began following information provided by the Local Police, who raised the suspicion that there could be a marijuana crop in a warehouse in the town, since it gave off strong heat.

The police notified the Firefighters, who upon accessing the warehouse found the marijuana plantation with a large infrastructure enabled for indoor planting. Investigators from the Mossos d'Esquadra of Granollers took charge of the case.
