Foreign Affairs assures that the Spanish colony in Israel is fine after the Iranian attack

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated this Sunday that the Spanish colony in Israel is well after Iran's attacks on the country and that it is not currently considering an evacuation of the embassy, although the plan is prepared in case it were necessary.

This is what Foreign sources have informed EFE, after the day before Iran launched a wave of missiles and drones against Israel, in retaliation for the Israeli bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus two weeks earlier.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to analyze the situation in the Middle East region to study whether to update travel recommendations to the region and to activate an evacuation of embassies, which is not being considered at this time, although the plan for this is prepared in case of need.

In this sense, the Foreign Ministry has recalled that an evacuation plan for Spanish citizens from Israel and Gaza was already activated at the beginning of the war, last October.
